01 — Media summit, boutique hotel lobby

A two-day industry summit took over a boutique hotel and wanted its lobby to feel like a branded flagship, not a registration desk. We built the station against a white drape wall: hat tower on one side, press and embroidery lane on the other, working table dressed to match the room.

Attendees drifted over between sessions rather than in one crush, which let a single-head configuration keep pace all day. Caps and totes carried the summit mark; names went on collar-side in a two-option thread menu so no one stalled at the table.

Ops notes: service-elevator load-in at 6:40am, station live by 8:15. Footprint 9' × 12' against the drape line. Zero banquet power pulled — one wall circuit ran the entire lane.

02 — Software conference, mezzanine residency

A three-day user conference placed us on the mezzanine over the escalators — the one spot every attendee passed at least four times a day. The client's worry was pace: 1,800 badges and a schedule with two brutal break-time surges.

We answered with a twin setup and a deliberately short menu — one logo, three thread colorways, two placements. Overnight, equipment cased and stayed on property under the center's lock; each morning began with a fresh test stitch and a five-minute sound check with the AV lead below us.

Ops notes: shared one load-in across three days, which is exactly why day two and three cost the client meaningfully less than day one. Restock arrived the second morning after the size report flagged mediums running dry.

03 — Retail takeover weekend

An apparel brand rented a storefront for a weekend and asked us to be the reason people walked in. Embroidery anchored the back wall; a patch lounge up front pulled sidewalk traffic; an outdoor satellite under a canopy handled overflow on Saturday afternoon.

Retail power is honest but scattered, so we mapped circuits during the Thursday paper walk and split the lanes across three outlets. The brand's own inventory got stitched — which meant our sacrificial-test-piece rule earned its keep on a delicate crop-fleece style that needed a stabilizer change before going live.

Ops notes: two-day run, 11am–7pm. The outdoor satellite followed our canopy brief: level ground, staked corners, and power measured at 40 feet — under our 50-foot ceiling for a clean run.
